Description du poste
The Area Sale Manager is responsible for the development and performance of Lancel for a to be defined region(s). In line with the Brand long term strategy and sales policy, the Sales Manager is responsible to develop, animate and drive the wholesale distribution of the markets she/he is in charge of. At the same time, she/he would ensure that the sales are achieved from a qualitative and quantitative point of view.
Negotiating OTBS prior to the sales campaign
Optimizing sales during the showroom period and throughout the seasons
Supervising the orders of customers (good referencing vs core of collection and advertisement, best sellers)
Supervising the logistic/finance operations (shipment, orders, after sale and payment)
Definition of Action plans and work on P&L
Preparing and updating seasonal and annual budgets
Development of the distribution network:
Development and control of Lancel wholesale POS (existing + new prospects).
Visit partners regularly
Negotiations of franchises/ corners/pop up openings as well as commercial terms
Drive the development of the distribution by:
Contributing to the offer improvement (sales analysis/ reporting) in order to challenge partners on buys, budgets and target to be achieved
Ensure proper visual merchandising implementation as per brand guidelines
Conduct training on products
Marketing & Communication
Support the Marketing manager during events in collaboration with partners
Representing the brand during events (trade and press events)
Contribution of the offer improvement by:
Conveying the information from the field to the wholesale direction and also ready to wear and accessories product teams: collection briefing, feedback on customers about products, collection
Going on market visit in order to have knowledge and understand competitors (their products, pricing, and “strategy”)
Drive the general process of franchise /branded corners openings by:
Make sure the Capex budget is invested by partners at majority
Make sure the brand guidelines are respected
Negotiation of commercial terms with key partners
Liaise with the legal department for the LOI, LOA, contracts in collaboration with HQ commercial direction

- You must be able to convince and adapt your communication to your interlocutors.
- Fluent in English/French
