Merchandise Financial Planner (MFP) or Open To Buy (OTB) planning Analyst for Western European Cluster (France, Spain, Portugal)
The MFP team owns the local MFP & OTB process for the business. The role leads the Global Buy Reviews and Open-To-Buys for the cluster. You will be responsible for managing the planning processes to improve the MFP & OTB methods to secure forecast accuracy. The role translates global strategy into actionable local items related to inventory and targets for stock and sell-in strategy. You will partner with a cross-functional team to deliver financial results, maximize profits and analyze trends. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating the Open-to-Buy plans.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- You will own the financial and qualitative merchandise plans by channel.
- You will translate global merchandising strategies into local seasonal financial objectives; identify local areas of potential and unexplored opportunities.
- You will partner with the Merchandising Director to create seasonal purchase budget (based on historical trends, cluster budgets and investment strategy) and manage sell-in accordingly.
- You will collaborate with local finance in the budget setting and reviewing to secure Merchandising’ bottom up forecast is considered in the final budget targets.
- You will review and update the Open-to-Buy plans.
- You will align with finance and senior leadership to set stock and DP targets aligned with sales expectations.
- You will lead the cluster Global Buy Review and review investment strategies relative to local forecast, insights, and current sales trends
- You will assess risks and opportunities of the promo plan / calendar

Profil recherché
- You have previous experience in retail, fashion or FMCG
- You understand the fast pace / finished products environment and feel comfortable with multiple product cycles and promo calendars
- You are a pro excel user
- You can challenge financial plans and present your ideas to senior management
