Y/PROJECT is looking for a skilled Raw material Manager to join the Team. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of Y/PROJECT’s Production Team with the responsibilities in overseeing the sourcing and the cycle of production materials from collection handover until the successful reception by the manufacturers.

Job Title : Raw material Manager - Production

Hierarchical reporting : Supply Chain Director

Main responsibilities :
- Providing the required level of accuracy of raw-material -and supplier information, preparing and tracking material-purchases, planning and stock-levels (ERP)
- Flagging and communicating abnormalities during the production process
- Maintaining, valuing, and updating the active supplier relations and negotiating for optimized pricing, payment terms and lead-times
- Ensuring the accuracy of the Production purchases’ back office and budget
- In charge of Production material inventory, forecasts, and re-supply orders
- Having an essential role in building and maintaining brand’s objectives of supply-chain that’s adapted both for seasonal requirements and for the overall quality and sustainability

Management :
- Purchasing Assistant

Skill requirements and personal skills:
- Minimum 2-year experience in purchasing and Sourcing in RTW fashion
- In-depth knowledge of materials, ordering-process and lead-times
- High proficiency in relevant tools such as Zedonk (or other ERP), MS Office and Adobe Suite
- Natural tendency for accuracy and planning
- The capacity to manage processes autonomously
- Bilingual in French and English (both written and spoken)
